Commemorating the opening of Peter Hughes Drive The road has been named in recognition of Mr Peter Hughes who retired in 2003 after 50 years of valuable service to Fremantle Ports This plaque was unveiled by The Honourable Alannah MacTiernan MLA Minister for Planning and Infrastructure 14 April 2005
