In 2007 I discovered the wonderful world of Wikimedia. I'd explored wikis before this, but never really gotten into contributing to Wikipedia or any of the other projects.
Then I found the joy of adding information to Wikipedia, and the further satisfaction of putting all of one's source material online and hyperlinked in Wikisource. Now I spend most of my wiki time on Wikisource, adding reference material for Wikipedia and novels and things just for reading (i.e. as a more free and open alternative to Project Gutenberg). My username is samwilson on all projects.
Since 2016 I've been working as a Software Engineer for the Wikimedia Foundation. My work username is SWilson (WMF).
I also go along to the meetups of WikiClubWest.
