Another nice morning out mapping with Geogeeks, this time around the new Bayswater railway station, where there's been lots of changes but also lots of old unchanging things that just weren't yet mapped. There's plenty more to be done, especially with linking heritage buildings to OSM and Wikidata, but I'm quite content focusing on Fremantle for doing that sort of thing so for these mapping parties I map from the point of view of a tourist (toilets, route connectivity, drinking water, cafes, opening hours, transit, etc.).
I couldn't figure out the significance of this well-mounted bit of wood outside the bank:
