We walked past Beechcroft today, the house in which my great-great-grandfather lived with his aunt and uncle Maria and Bruges Fry. It's a large, two-storey, stone place, with a big garden. We had a brief chat with the current occupant, but he was not that interested and didn't know anything about the history of the building.
