Epson V33 scanner

I have a Epson V33 scanner that I use with Ubuntu. Sometimes I forget how to set it up...

Download the iscan-perfection-v330-bundle-1.0.1.x64.deb.tar.gz file from Epson, and run its install.sh.

Then follow this answer from Ask Ubuntu. It basically boils down to running

sudo ln -sfr /usr/lib/sane/libsane-epkowa* /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sane

and adding the following to /etc/udev/rules.d/55-epson-libsane.rules:

SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ENV{DEVTYPE}=="usb_device", MODE=="0666"
SUBSYSTEM=="usb_device", MODE=="0666"

ATTRS{manufacturer}=="EPSON", DRIVERS=="usb", SUBSYSTEMS=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="04b8", ATTRS{idProduct}=="*", MODE="0666"

ATTRS{idVendor}=="04b8", ATTRS{idProduct}=="0137", MODE="0666", GROUP="scanner", ENV{libsane_matched}="yes"
