Another short trip to Rottnest.
Day 1
Our customary morning tea at Dôme after disembarking was fairly lackluster: cold tea, a coffee half-sloshed and missing a saucer, and no milk for the tea. The staffing shortages I guess are taking a toll, because it wasn't all that busy.
Walked up to Oliver Hill, then caught the train back down. Looks like Captain Hussey has a new paint job, with the old OHR logo being replaced by a simple text sign.
Day 2
Had a bit of a poke around the old RAAF radar station at west end. Part of a boarded-up window had been broken open, so it was possible to see in at the half dozen bunk-bed frames and random other rubbish.
Ended with a beer at the new The Mezz beer garden at the curved bit of the sea wall.
