I'm trying to return to using my own website for things. It's not working that well, because after the excitement of Mastodon and the feeling of there being other people interacting with my posts, a boring old site like this doesn't really feel that great. It'd be nice to get beyond that feeling though, because the downside of the excitement of someone reposting a post is the negative feeling of having said something stupid when no one reposts one.
So I'll try to write more on my own site, and probably at some point implement at least parts of ActivityPub here so that I can send things out into the fediverse.
